Cooking and Nutrition

At Reid Street, we find cooking a fundamental life skill which is embedded within each year group. We aim to improve the quality of food education by developing our children’s understanding of nutrition, healthy eating and field to fork. Within each year group, practical skills and knowledge is consolidated and extended upon. Through support from the DT association project pages, year groups work to develop particular skills and vocabulary through a broad and rich curriculum.
