Welcome to Key Stage 1.
My name is Mrs Robson and I am Vice Principal and manager of ‘The Infants’ – Years 1 and 2. I also work closely with the manager of Foundation Stage, Mrs Jones.
Our classrooms are bright, engaging and open-plan, with a gradual progression towards more formal experiences in Y2.
We have high pupil-staff ratios and benefit from the support of a very experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant. Pupils are taught in mixed ability classes in Reception and Year 1 and in sets in Year 2, ready for their transition to Year 3. Our curriculum is engaging and creative, providing links between subjects wherever possible and we strive to offer a wide range of motivating learning experiences.
