The Pupil Premium Grant was introduced in April 2011. It is an additional funding allocation based on the number of children who are or have been eligible for free school meals in the past six years, the number of children who are Looked After by the local authority (or have been adopted) and the number of children whose parents are in the armed forces.
Following DfE guidance, we moved to 3 year planning for our previous Pupil Premium Strategy and have updated this in line with the statutory format introduced in Autumn 2021.
